- What cable infrastructure is there for voice and data?
- Is it Cat 5, 6, 7, Ethernet, RS232, CW1308 or a combination?
- Are there sufficient voice and data outlets to support requirements, planned or existing?
- Are there any records, be they jumper or patching?
- Are they accurate?
- Can copper be replaced with fibre?
- What is the existing backbone capacity?
- Can remote PBX nodes connect directly to fibre?
- How many outlets should be specified?
- Is a VoIP solution to be installed, as this will reduce the number?
- Should redundancy be built in?
- Is there a case for wireless LAN or DECT (Cordless voice and data)?
- Is there sufficient accommodation for a structured system?
- How much will it cost?
