Spink Telecom has been advising district and borough councils for many years across the UK, on their approach to telephony and how best to go about updating their ageing systems . Each authority has had different internal requirements but have also recently been moving to shared services such as IT helpdesk, contact centres and Revenues and Benefits.

The last few years has also seen council mergers to meet cost cutting requirements. The changes required to reduce buildings and staff levels, yet maintain service levels has proved challenging to many and new technology is usually expected to take up the strain. 

Spink Telecom has provided impartial technical advice, procurement assistance and project management throughout. Options appraisals to help select the right solution, specifications to be issued to potential suppliers, evaluation reports and then seeing the projects through to a satisfactory conclusion is a resource and skill set that many councils simply do not have in house any more.
August 2017 Spink Telecom launches a new website
